I watched the Simon Sinek TED Talk about great leaders inspiring action this Monday - On MLK Day and found it very coincidental that he mentioned Martin Luther King and his “Why” and “Beliefs”.
https://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action MLK made such a difference because he fought very hard for what he believed in and did a great job sharing his conviction. It’s a great message both personally and professionally - Know and live your WHY, your BELIEFS and you PURPOSE. Winning the Day I’ve been very inspired to grow Colorado Moving Experts this year and want to share where I’m finding some great accountability. Andy Frisella’s “The MFCEO project” podcast lives by completing a daily power list. This involves completing five critical tasks per day. When you complete all five tasks that day, you win the day. When you win more days than you lose, you win the week. And when you win more weeks than you lose, you win the month. These tasks are things that are critical to getting you closer to your goal. The concept is to move forward a little bit every single day and if you commit to this for one year, he guarantees you will be FIVE YEARS ahead of your competition. FYI - I’ve been doing this for a week now. Last week was tough, but it was also very productive. I know it takes a month to form a habit and that it takes 60-90 days to break bad habits, but I'm already noticing a difference and it feels great!

![]() I get asked quite a bit why someone should hire me over another moving company. THIS IS WHY - Responsibility, pride and advocacy. When I meet with a potential client my first goal is to fully understand the client’s needs, expectations and exactly what it will take for a successful move. From there I provide an accurate estimate of the total cost and labor required for the project. Then we go to work decluttering, packing and preparing for move day. We manage and assist the move crew, transfer the perishables, and make the beds. We come back the next day to help unpack and get organized. We even hang artwork at our clients' new homes. BUT WHAT TRULY SETS US APART is that I take full responsibility for my moves. My clients don’t have to worry whether or not any part of the project will get completed; I make sure everything is taken care of. |
